Cheng-Hsu Chung
Cheng-Hsu Chung is a Taiwanese animation artist and director currently based in Berlin, Germany. Chung’s artistic practise focuses on using surreal images and character performances in animation to articulate the changing nature of emotion, modern love relationships and the experiences queer bodies encounter in today’s queer culture. Chung’s films have been screened in international film festivals including International Animation Festival, Annecy International Animation Film Festival, London International Animation Festival, GLAS Animation Festival, among others. His awards include Taiwan Grand Prize at Kaohsiung Film Festival, Grand Prize at Urban Nomad Film Festival, Bronze at Berlin Music Video Awards 2020, and more. His film ‘Adorable’ was also nominated for Best Animated Short Film in Golden Horse Award and Taipei Film Festival. Apart from film festivals, Chung’s work has been featured on TV and in exhibitions around the world, including Channel 4, Adult Swim, WRO Media Art Biennale, Taipei Artist Village <Into>, Taipei Digital Art Center <Expanded Experimental Animation Festival IV>, among others.
As well as his personal work, Cheng also works on creative commissions. Through working artistically and commercially, Cheng has merged both worlds and created his playful and surreal visual style. As an animation artist and illustrator, his work adds artistry and originality to commercial projects while maintaining a signature style throughout. His selected clients include Spotify, Adidas, Nike, Adult Swim, BBC, Warp Records, BAYER, Berliner Zeitung, among others.

鍾承旭
鍾承旭，1994年生，臺灣高雄人。畢業於國立臺北藝術大學動畫學系，以及英國皇家藝術學院動畫研究所；他目前以動畫藝術家及導演的身份工作與生活在柏林。
鍾承旭的作品創作媒材以動畫為主；創作脈絡則聚焦於描寫人際情緒的轉變，當代的戀愛感情關係與同志身份認同及同志文化的探索。以這些題材為依據，他在畫面上以超現實的事件與荒誕的角色行為作為視覺呈現的要素。
鍾承旭的作品曾入選多項國際影展，包括渥太華國際動畫影展，安錫國際動畫影展，倫敦國際動畫影展，關渡國際動畫影展等等。他也曾獲得高雄電影節台灣首獎，台中國際動畫影展評審團獎，城市遊牧影展首獎，柏林音樂錄影帶大獎的動畫銅獎等。其作品<可愛>也獲得了金馬獎與台北電影節的最佳動畫短片提名。除了在影展獲得肯定外，鍾承旭的作品也在國際媒體及聯展露出，包括英國Channel 4電視台，美國Adult Swim電視台，WRO波蘭媒體藝術雙年展，臺北國際藝術村<透明象限>，臺北數位藝術中心<超越實驗4>，也曾被國際媒體 Dazed Media報導。此外，鍾承旭也曾擔任美國加州藝術學院的參訪藝術家。
在創作個人作品以外，鍾承旭也擅長製作音樂錄影帶，廣告與插畫等商業作品。在藝術性與商業性都融入個人想法與脈絡後，他發展出了一套活潑與超現實的視覺風格，並以此強烈個人風格的動畫為商業作品添加獨創性與藝術性。他的客戶包括美國卡通電視台Adult Swim，英國電視台BBC，英國唱片廠牌Warp Records，Adidas愛迪達，等知名流行文化與媒體公司。
